Vision-Mission

Vision

To be a leading center of research and development in electric, autonomous and unmanned vehicles industries around the world.

Mission

In the field of electric, autonomous and unmanned vehicles; to carry out competitive and effective research and development studies at a global level, to produce high-tech solutions with domestic and national added value with the cooperation of the public and private sectors, to create partnerships, to produce projects, develop and implement business and service models, coordinate training activities to raise qualified manpower, and to carry out the necessary studies to raise awareness.

Director’s Message

The establishment of our Electric, Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles Application and Research Center is based on the work, knowledge and infrastructure of the EVA TEAM Electric Vehicle Team, which was organised within our university in 2018.

In the first year of the EVA TEAM, our EVA-1 electric vehicle, which was produced completely unique, won the 3rd Prize and the Special Jury Award in the Electromobile category of the 2019 TÜBİTAK International Efficiency Challenge Races. After this success in the first year EVA TEAM grow and developed EVA 2 and EVA 2S electric vehicles, as well as EVA Autonomous vehicle, unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned underwater vehicles and obtained successful results in various competitions held within Teknofest.

In order to transform the studies carried out within EVA TEAM into a more institutional structure and to carry out applied research and development activities in the field of all kinds of electric, autonomous and unmanned land, sea and air vehicles, “Electric, Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles” within our university.

Current estimate for the depletion of fossil fuels is in the 2040s, therefore the use of electric vehicles is becoming increasingly significant all over the world, and it is predicted that in the future, internal combustion engine vehicles will be replaced by connected vehicles with electric and autonomous features. We, as the Autonom, will take part in this transformation, carry out global projects in the field of electric, autonomous and unmanned land, sea and air vehicles in cooperation with the public and private sectors, contribute to domestic electric car studies in our country, applied research and development. We aim to carry out studies, contribute to the training of qualified personnel, and turn the technology that will emerge from these studies into a product and present it to the service of the society.

Within the framework of these goals, we invite public and private sector institutions working and willing to work in the field of electric, autonomous and unmanned vehicles, and dynamic, curious researchers to cooperate and contribute to our vision of becoming a global reference point that generate information and technology of international standards.

Kind regards,
